Ax's Friday Night 4E Campaign
Arioch Al'Kabor "The Raven"
I was born in the Feywild ages ago and grew to be a grand wizard to the glorious courts of Eladrin royalty. I’ve been both blessed and cursed with the ability of foresight. I had a vision of the coming Chaos War and left the Eladrin court and the extended life that it offered me. After fighting alongside the races of Tellyr I was frightened by their warlike demeanor and thirst for power, but also intrigued by their feats of technology and magic and their seemingly limitless potential. Unlike many of my brethren, I stayed in Tellyr and helped combat the pockets of evil that remained after the Chaos War. My ability to see the future helped in this task, but also made me unpopular with the kingdoms of Tellyr because of my tendency to warn of grave peril. This earned me the nickname of “The Raven”.
Being away from the Feywild sped up the aging process and my body started to fail. It was at this time that I had a vision that in the distant future, my adopted world would be threatened by one of its saviors. In order to remain when this happened, I desperately sought a way to lengthen my years and foolishly performed the ritual to become a lich. Besides being a horrible process, it has tainted my ability in magic and now forces me to play by rules established by the demons I seek to keep out of Tellyr. But I can now continue to prepare the world for its next big challenge.
